Well I think I should start first by defining what we mean by discipleship. And what i'm saying by that is merely somebody who’s following Jesus straight into ever-growing stations of faith. And what I do believe we tend to think – at the time you pose the question, “Why should discipleship be the middle of men’s ministry? ” I do believe the default – in all of the men’s minds is, “How do i get men into some systematic Bible study? ” And additionally again, nothing wrong with this.

Yeah, say more about this. ‘Cause I love the manner that you say this. Because sometimes guys occurs to you, and they also have a concept of what they see men’s ministry as. And it’s a program, it’s a system, it’s a task. But then they miss other side of it. Which is how do we really mobilize men? Yeah so, what I hear people saying is that we need to have a larger view of what men’s ministry may be. Or a larger eye sight – not be consequently exclusive or myopic around saying, “It’s only some Bible study. And if numbers arrived at my Bible study, next I’m successful. ” Or – if you'll find 100 men that arrived at a men’s retreat, next we’re successful. It’s more about how precisely exactly are we mobilizing men throughout the church? We’re giving them opportunities to advance in their faith, through the use of their gifts and looking at service and projects and engagement together with the whole church – not just with us. That is indeed a healthier view, it actually sounds like?
Absolutely. Yes. We have got a man in our rec center named John, who retired – I don’t discover? 15 years ago from teaching. Very vigorous man. And his ministry was to church camp. Where you can find hundreds and hundreds of first-time decisions for Christ constructed every summer. And tens of thousands of re-dedication.
