Well I think I ought to start first by defining that which you mean by discipleship. And what i'm saying by that is merely somebody who’s following Jesus into ever-growing stations of faith. And what I'm sure we tend to think – after you pose the question, “Why should discipleship be center of men’s ministry? ” I'm sure the default – in all of the men’s minds is, “How do i get men into a good systematic Bible study? ” And additionally again, nothing wrong with this.

Yeah so, what I hear people saying is that we should instead have a larger perspective of what men’s ministry may be. Or a larger eye sight – not be consequently exclusive or myopic approximately saying, “It’s only a good Bible study. And if numbers come to my Bible study, after that I’m successful. ” Or – if we have 100 men that come to a men’s retreat, after that we’re successful. It’s more about how are we mobilizing men in the church? We’re giving them opportunities to advance in their faith, by employing their gifts and visiting service and projects and engagement together with the whole church – not only on with us. That is a real healthier view, it sounds like?
Absolutely. Yes. We contain a man in our church named John, who launched onto – I don’t discover? 15 years ago coming from teaching. Very vigorous man. And his ministry was to church camp. Setting up – yeah, he’s a good Bible student, but they will don’t go and examine the Bible.
