Every ministry for the church needs a tough vision, and men’s ministry isn't an different. But do we understand the most beneficial version and expression of this? Well I think I ought to start first by defining that which you mean by discipleship. And enjoy by that is easily somebody who’s following Jesus into ever-growing stations of faith. And if numbers arrive at my Bible study, then I’m successful. ” Or – if we now have 100 men that arrive at a men’s retreat, then we’re successful. It’s more about precisely how are we mobilizing men over the church? We’re giving them opportunities to cultivate in their faith, by employing their gifts and looking at service and projects and engagement while using whole church – not only with us. That is indeed a healthier view, it actually sounds like?
Absolutely. Yes. We contain a man in our house of worship named John, who introduced – I don’t know? 15 years ago from teaching. Very vigorous person. And his ministry was to our church camp. Where you can find hundreds and hundreds of first-time decisions for Christ built every summer. And countless re-dedication. And John started choosing trips to Trout Lake to do building up there. And he’s probably got 30 men in this church who go by using him. It’s very silent, it’s under the radar. They're going up there, and they do tremendous work. They’ve given literally quantities of free labor. Skilled labor to this fact camp. Where children come consequently they are saved and discipled. Air cleaner will add – yeah, he’s your Bible student, but they don’t go and analyze the Bible.
