Well I think I would start first by defining that which we mean by discipleship. And why by that is merely somebody who’s following Jesus into ever-growing stations of faith. And what I believe we tend to think – after you pose the question, “Why should discipleship be center of men’s ministry? ” I believe the default – for most men’s minds is, “How do i get men into some sort of systematic Bible study? ” And again, nothing wrong to be able.

Yeah, say more about this. ‘Cause I love the way that you say that will. Because sometimes guys arrives to you, and they've already a concept of what they think of men’s ministry as. And it’s a treatment program, it’s a system, it’s a process. But then they miss the other side of it. That is definitely how do we really mobilize men? Yeah so, what I hear people saying is that excellent artwork i just have a larger viewpoint of what men’s ministry may just be. Or a larger imaginative and prescient vision – not be consequently exclusive or myopic around saying, “It’s only some sort of Bible study. And if numbers come to my Bible study, after that I’m successful. ” Or – if we've 100 men that come to a men’s retreat, after that we’re successful. It’s more about how are we mobilizing men through the entire church? We’re giving them opportunities to nurture in their faith, by utilizing their gifts and visiting service and projects and engagement along with the whole church – not only with us. That is a real healthier view, it sounds like?
Absolutely. Yes. We employ a man in our rec center named John, who outdated – I don’t discover? 15 years ago out of teaching. Very vigorous fellow. And his ministry was to our church camp.
